Let's Work Together!

As a workforce development consultant, I work on a variety of projects with WIBs, American Job Centers and nonprofit organizations. I've done everything from facilitating strategic planning to process mapping/program development to staff training and development.

I've also provided services directly to job seeker clients, including running online and in-person Career/Job Clubs and facilitating a 12-week coaching program for long-term unemployed to help them start-up their own small businesses.

Some of my areas of expertise include:

  • Consultative selling and strategic engagement with business customers.

  • Developing and implementing innovative, engaging events and programs for both business and job seeker customers.

  • Facilitating strategic planning sessions.

  • Using business-based strategies such as design thinking, appreciative inquiry and lean startup practices to create high quality programs and services.

  • Developing and facilitating staff training and development activities that focus on asset-based coaching, using online tools, group facilitation strategies, and design thinking.

I'm particularly interested in projects and customers that push the envelope, going beyond things like compliance and regulations and really getting into ways we can move the workforce system into being the innovative, creative heart of change in our communities.

I'm interested in the possibilities for what we can create and how we can improve the system, even in times of uncertainty and financial stress. I believe in the work that we do and want to work with customers who see this work as an engine for impact and creating thriving communities.

To get a taste for some of my work, check out some of the projects listed in the right sidebar. Or feel free to email or call me. I'm happy to discuss your thoughts and explore the possibilities!
