Public Transportation to Anywhere
Google is playing around with a new feature in their labs (which are always fun to check out). This one has some real possibilities for agencies that serve people who use public transportation. Although they have only a few test cities up right now, it looks like GoogleTransit will let you plan a trip from point to point on public transportation. Much easier than looking at maps and bus schedules. It even tells you the walking parts and how long the walk will take. Imagine how cool THAT would be as an addition to a case manager's toolkit! Not sure when it will be entirely up and running, but it looks like it has a lot of potential.
